Alladale Wilderness Reserve offers the unique opportunity to stay in the comfort of a luxurious Highland lodge or elegant cottage in the magnificent setting of a unique 23,000 acre wilderness reserve. Holidays at Alladale Wilderness Reserve come in different shapes and sizes: from an all-inclusive break or retreat to a comfortable self-catered stay in beautifully decorated cottages.

The Alladale Lodge stands on an elevated plateau surrounded by native woods with spectacular views over some of Scotland's most northerly ancient Caledonian Scots pine forest. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, Alladale has maintained its traditional, yet sumptuous, style and comfort. Large, -elegant rooms with original fireplaces and tall sash windows give it a 'home-away from-home' feel.

The drawing room with its baby-grand piano is the perfect place to relax and share stories of the day's adventures with fellow guests by a cosy fire. The 7 en-suite double rooms -that can be turned into twins on request-, are decorated with comfort and individual style in mind. The bathrooms come with bathrobes, towels and organics toiletries. The Lodge also houses a sauna, fully equipped gym and billiard room, Wi-Fi is available throughout and high quality cinema equipment has been fitted for conference purposes in the boardroom.

Additionally, two (self)catered Scottish-Scandinavian style cottages, Ghillie’s Rest and Eagle’s Crag, sleeping 4 and 8 people respectively, are situated along Glen Alladale, about 1 mile from Alladale Lodge. Guests are treated to stunning views and a lovely sense of privacy that invites to relax and unwind. With underfloor heating, high ceilings, exposed beams and tartan patterns you will want to hide away in these stunning properties forever.

Guests can enjoy many onsite activities such as 4x4 safaris, guided hikes, mountain biking, foraging, brown trout fishing, clay pigeon shooting, wild swimming, massages, beauty treatments and whisky tastings. The Alladale team is also happy to arrange a range of offsite activities.

For larger parties, Alladale offers the option to rent both the Alladale Lodge and two cottages to accommodate a maximum of 26 people.
