Spirit of the Sea

We love Menorca and in particular this pretty house, situated on the quiet bay of San Antonio in the area known locally as ‘Millionaire’s Row’.

Perched on the waterfront with a jetty and mooring for a little boat for popping across the harbour to the delights of Mahon or to nearby fishing villages for lunch or dinner, this is the most delightful place to holiday.

The house has been recently renovated and is prettily furnished with lots of different entertaining areas and a myriad of terraces and quiet places to sit and enjoy the fabulous views. A superb roof terrace with its own kitchen, dining and seating area is the focal point of the house with wonderful views over the harbour  and opening onto the oval pool  and BBQ terrace.  A shady vine covered pergola is the perfect place to lounge in the evening watching the sun set over the water.

A second kitchen and dining room are inside the house along with two different seating areas, one with a log fire and the other with picture windows onto the harbour which fold back in summer to create a verandah. The bedrooms are all fresh and pretty with ensuite bath or shower rooms and private terraces.

The most perfect house for those loving the sea, it features its own private mooring for larger boats.  A water taxi service is on hand for those less adventurous wishing to pop over to Mahon and the island’s 120+ beaches are within easy reach by car.
