Hermanus is built along the shores of Walker Bay near the Southern most tip of Africa. Magnificent mountains watch over the town which is home to the Southern Right Whale. Nature lovers from all over the world visit Hermanus to view these magnificent creatures from the best land based whale-watching destination in the world.

With a wonderful daily market and plenty of fun bars and fabulous restaurants, Hermanus enjoys a mild climate. Winter, although the rainy season, has nonetheless many sunny days and is generally mild but with gales at times. Summer is dry and sunny with extreme heat tempered by sea breezes. Early autumn (March) is idyllic, with balmy days and late afternoon mists soaked with the smell of the sea - the so-called Hermanus "champagne air"!

68 Mitchell Street is a beautiful holiday villa, comfortably and prettily furnished. It includes both an indoor and outdoor dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, its own heated swimming pool and full security. It is situated 300m from the centre of town,
and a few minutes from the Hermanus Golf Club and a short drive from Hermanus's beautiful beaches.
