There are few riads in Marrakech which offer the pure luxury and refinement of Riad El Bacha. Classical style is enhanced by the eclectic harmony of this beautifully renovated property. It has been elegantly styled throughout by its Italian owner, from the magical roof top terrace with views across the medina to the traditional, tranquil courtyard below.
With the snow capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains painting the horizon in bold, eternal strokes and the lush greenery of the Dar el Bacha Palace abundant in the foreground, this is one of the finest views in Marrakech.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served by the super attentive staff on the terrace as well as in the courtyard and there is a sunbathing area where guests can relax before sipping a refreshing drink in the shade of the tent.
5 bedroom suites all have individual identities – from Leale (meaning “honest and trustworthy” in Italian) with its own private courtyard, a lavish bedroom with an Italian white marble and dusty Moroccan Tadelakt finished bathroom – to Nefelibata (which literally means “cloud-walker”, one who defies the conventions of society, literature and art to weave an ethereal life through their own imagination). Here, African hints dominate the bedroom, while the ensuite bathroom is a mix of Emperor marble and gleaming chrome fixtures.
All the bedrooms are a luxurious mix of art deco, oriental influences and cutting-edge design, with ensuite marble bathrooms and the finest Italian fittings.
