The Kassiopia Estate, Cassiopeia House

Located on the fabled North East coast of Corfu is a beautiful, privately owned 5 acre (private) headland, one of the Island’s jewels, and home to the Kassiopia Estate. With its spectacular views and beautiful landscaped grounds surrounded by sea and sky, the Estate provides the perfect setting for a truly unforgettable experience. It consists of just two stunning properties, the elegant and utterly luxurious Cassiopeia House, with its sensational pool and entertaining area, and the enchanting, incredibly comfortable and more intimate Atolikos House.

The first sight, from the crest of the hill, of the seven bedroom Cassiopeia House is truly breathtaking - a combination of Venetian influence and traditional Corfiot features with the ultimate in contemporary comfort. The sapphire-coloured sea and theatrical and dramatic Albanian mountains provide the perfect backdrop. Entered through a traditional Corfiot door into a magical courtyard with two 400 hundred year old olive trees and water trickling from two enormous clam shells, you leave the frenetic modern world behind.

The house has so many features that they are too numerous to list: large, luminous and spacious rooms (the sitting room alone is 16m with 9 French windows!), sumptuous bedrooms and bathrooms all with terraces, masses of entertainment features like the funky retro cinema room. These are really the supporting act to the outside living area with its stunning infinity pool, separate children’s pool and the Pool House which is truly a “house” in every sense.

From the pool terrace, steps wind down through the gardens to a small pebble beach offering beautiful sea swimming and snorkelling in cobalt blue water, or a little further along is the jetty area where you keep a locally hired boat to use for day trips to explore the Island’s numerous other beaches and coves.
