The
Greek Islands
This is a region of turquoise, emerald and indigo seas, with bright
blue skies and clear, dry air outlining the contours of mountains.
Dazzling white villages cling precipitously to the sides of the
islands scented with lemon blossom and wild thyme. Small tavernas
serve delicious, simple cuisine using fresh fish and vegetables.
Wonderful beaches and the best sea bathing make these islands one
of the most idyllic spots in the Mediterranean.
Croatia
Surrounded by the beautiful Adriatic Sea, the rocky and unspoilt
coastline of Croatia has recently become very much in vogue with
sailing aficionados. Perfect for a water sports holiday, the islands
offer lovely hidden coves and crystal clear seas perfect for diving
and snorkelling. The towns and villages of Croatia are rich in culture
and heritage and an Italian influence can be found in the local
cuisine.
Turkey
Wherever you go in Turkey you will be offered a glass of tea, for
hospitality to a guest is sacred. This warm and welcoming atmosphere
is set in a country rich in heritage and culture. The Datca Peninsula
has a deeply indented coastline with bays and coves and a fjord-like
scenery, making it immensely popular for sailing. A pleasant climate
with low humidity and cooling sea breezes makes this a lovely, tranquil
place to stay.
