Kizingoni House Kizingoni House Kizingoni House Kizingoni House Kizingoni House Kizingoni House

Situated on the beach Kizingoni House has been built and positioned to take full advantage of the west facing view for spectacular sunsets and sea views and to catch the sea breeze throughout the year. The large central living/dining area is simply designed in Swahili style with traditional plasterwork and wooden beams and beautifully furnished with traditional Swahili items and antiques from Asia. There are four baraza (meeting/sitting) areas – in the protected garden, next to the plunge pool, on the first floor terrace and finally on the roof with fabulous views of the sea on both side of the Peninsula.

All four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and private balconies with sea views. The master bedroom has a Swahili style bath tub and opens to the roof patio and bar area. The pool has a separate bathroom and changing room.

A combination of solar and wind power make the house totally self-sufficient for electricity and hot water.

The English speaking staff will look after your every need and the resident manageress will make sure that your stay is good as it gets from menus to local activities and events.

These beautiful beach houses were all featured in House & Garden and can be booked in combination with a stay at Mukima House situated up country near Nanyuki.
