La Residenza

This 16th century villa situated on the Guidecca, directly across from St Mark's Square has been beautifully restored to provide 11 private apartments with full hotel services.

The Villa stands proudly on the Guidecca with fabulous views over to St Mark's Square. These views are dramatically integrated into the building via huge windows showing the constant to and fro of river traffic and the spires and bell towers of the city. La Residenza is backed by the largest garden in Venice – 3 acres of enchanting gardens with flowers, mature trees and a meditation pool complete with fountains.

The apartments are spacious and fabulously done, using muted traditional Venetian colours, original wall frescoes, beautiful fabrics, fine linens and oversized stone tubs complete with power showers. Many of the apartments have double height ceilings. All have custom designed, fully equipped kitchens with wine cabinets, Nespresso coffee machines and pretty china specially designed for the house.

Every detail has been thought through to provide modern, top class accommodation in an elegant Venetian setting.

The apartments are fully serviced by staff from the world famous Bauer Hotel and its sister hotel, the Palladio. A 24 hour concierge service is on hand to help organise your stay. The staff can arrange to do your provisions shopping, should you wish to have lunch or dinner in the apartment, or alternatively, room service can be ordered from the hotel.

A complimentary shuttle boat is available to cross over to the Bauer Il Palazzo, San Marco and the shops and restaurants of Venice.
