Villa San Michele 

Our very favourite villa on this wonderful island. Total privacy in a beautiful, historic house surrounded by 7 hectares of magical garden with the most stunning views. An oasis of peace only a short walk from the glamour and buzz of Capri’s Piazzetta.

This is possibly the most exclusive villa on Capri. In the owner’s family since the early 19th century, it is elegant and discreet. Cool marble and hand made tiles, vaulted ceilings, antique furniture and private balconies give the villa a timeless feel. Large bedrooms with high ceilings and french windows open onto balconies and the gardens.

Shaded outside areas and large terraces provide plenty of space for sitting and dining and the gardens are dotted with spots to sit and enjoy the view.

Steps lead up from the pool to a wonderful lemon pergola lined with white columns and leading to the free form pool surrounded by pine trees, palms and violet bougainvillea. The views over the hillside of Mount San Michele and the azure sea are fantastic.

The house comes with maid service, cook, in house caretaker and gardener. Full concierge service.
