Villa Tessi

Set amongst lovely gardens full of lavender, white roses, agapanthus and olive trees, this beautiful house is redolent of a past era with steps leading down from large terraces to the pool and pool house and spectacular views across to Les Iles d'Or.

Quiet, cool, refined and elegant, the interior is a subtle mixture of soft neutral fabrics and French furnishings. The rooms are large and airy with big windows looking out over the sea. Big verandas and private terraces run across the back of the house making it an ideal location for weddings or parties or just an al fresco lunch or candlelit dinner.

The pool area is well done with lots of sun loungers and a really good pool house with sofas and cushions and a fully equipped summer kitchen. There is plenty of space for shady outdoor dining with a large table to seat 16.

The bedrooms are split between the main house and the guest annexe and divided by a pretty interior courtyard. The rooms are spacious, cool and well furnished with very good beds and fine linens. The guest annexe has its own kitchenette - perfect for those wanting a nightcap after an evening in St Tropez…

With loads of activities, water sports and the prettiest beach complete with beach restaurant within walking distance of the house, we think this is real find with plenty to do for all ages. This strip of the coast has retained much of the Riviera's old fashioned charm and family atmosphere and yet the lights and fun of St. Tropez are only a short drive away – and from the good side of the town so without the dreaded queues around the bay.
