Leaving the pretty market town of Cogolin, you head up into the vineyards to peace and tranquillity as you wind your way towards the house in the distance. You feel you have left the madding crowd behind, but in fact you are a taxi ride from the glitz and glamour of the beaches of St Tropez!

Spread over two floors, Le Petit Faucon is a welcoming new country house, beautifully furnished by two leading London interior designers. Every attention to detail and comfort has been thought of, from two dishwashers in the kitchen to a bridge table in the TV/Study Room – life couldn’t be more comfortable or easy.

All the air-conditioned bedrooms have pretty soft furnishings and large bathrooms with plenty of fluffy towels to pamper yourself with after a day in the sun around the extra large pool. The house is very light, and the large open plan sitting room has French windows leading onto the terraces over looking the pool below and fantastic views beyond. There is plenty of comfortable terrace seating and a large outdoor dining table and barbecue. For the slightly more energetic there is a boules pitch and table tennis.

This is a perfect house for one or two families at any time of the year.
