Domaine des Vignes

Set in the vineyards behind St Tropez this lovely house has been beautifully designed with the focus on outside living. It has lots of attractive seating areas, from a sunken 'den' by the pool to a funky daybed under a shady terrace, perfect for afternoon siestas or evening sundowners. Several summer dinning areas are dotted about; one outside the kitchen for early morning al fresco breakfasts and another one under a tiled roof across the formal garden with pizza oven and barbecue, and yet another one under a shady terrace to the side of the house.

The pool is across the lawn and is well equipped with sun beds and parasols and has an electric cover.

The interior of the house is airy and cool with a big open plan sitting area furnished with sofas and chairs and an indoor dining room. A small television library room is situated near the bedrooms

Built all on one level, the 4 bedrooms lead off a long corridor and are all en suite. Decorated with bright fabrics and with simple but good new bathrooms. A studio is found at the end of this corridor and is accessed by a small deck and has a separate entrance. This can take 2 teenagers but shares a bathroom with one of the twin bedrooms.

The house is set in its own vineyard from which 1200 bottles of wine are produced each year. The owners very kindly leave a provision of wine for guests with more available on an 'honesty bar' basis.

This is a lovely house, perfect for entertaining, perfect for lazy summer living and near enough to enjoy the lights and nights of St Tropez and indeed its funky beach clubs. Several good beaches outside of St Tropez are also within easy driving distance at La Croix Valmer and Gigaro, and can be accessed through the quieter roads that cut down through the vineyards.
