La Villa du Bois des Trousses

Lovely, newly renovated house near the sought after village of les Portes de Ré., right next to the trendy Bois de Trousse Chemises beach. With a big garden providing loads of space for children, a good pool set in a large teak sun deck with an electric pool cover, this is a great house for families.

Beautifully furnished by the Belgian interior design firm, Flammand, the house is stylish yet comfortable. Four of the bedrooms are in the main house and the fifth is to the side of the pool and can only be accessed from the garden. All have French windows opening onto the pool deck.

There is a big living/dining room with loads of deep sofas, a fireplace for chilly spring or autumn evenings and lots of atmosphere. The kitchen is brand new, stylish, very well equipped and looks over the pool.

There is plenty of space for outside dining and the villa is equipped with attractive garden furniture. The pool house contains a small gym.

The Il de Ré is all about laid back living, Bermuda shorts and linen, great food and discreet chic; this house epitomises all of this.
