Le Vieux Mas

Le Vieux Mas is hidden up a little country lane and gives the impression of being in the heart of the French countryside, but you are not! Within a few minutes you can be enjoying the glitz and highlife of Cannes or taking the train to Monaco to watch the Grand Prix.

In typical Mas style, the house is spread over three floors. Upstairs, the bedrooms are spacious and each one is different in furnishings and style. Bathrooms are to the highest specification, and the master suite is more than comfortable. Usefully, at one end of the house with its own internal access, one of the double bedrooms has a sitting room off it (on request a child can be accommodated in a single bed) and its own kitchen. Ideal either for visiting guests, grandparents or nanny and child.

On the ground floor, the old bergerie is now a huge vaulted beamed sitting room with large working fireplace and this, combined with the formal dining room and separate TV snug, makes Le Vieux Mas an all year round house - for a Christmas gathering or a spring or autumn break as well as a the traditional summer holiday. We can organise a chef for the large professional kitchen and additional staff if required.

Without a doubt we both felt that the gardens and pool area were the ‘icing on the cake’. The terraced garden is beautifully landscaped and offers lots of space for everyone to find somewhere to escape to, either to kick a ball around the orchard or play on the swings, read a book on the covered shady terrace, or eat and relax overlooking the large pool terrace with its own pool house and kitchen area. Tucked away, the gym is a feature in itself being a converted old water basin. The Mas is a house for all seasons and, from the young up, there is something for everyone.
