Le Trustet

Set in the Haute Garonne, Le Trustet is a “Maison Maitre” set on a hill surrounded by 22 hectares of land.  It has magnificent views of the Pyrénées and is 40 minutes South West of Toulouse.

An attractive feature of this large house is the many sitting rooms and other areas to spread out and enjoy. From the formal drawing room, ideal for reading, listening to music and generally relaxing away from the lively pool area, to the study with Satellite TV, and DVD, this is a house for large parties and very much big enough for everyone to “do their own thing”.  The huge kitchen is equipped with every appliance for a professional cook and the pretty dining area with its huge limed dining table and chairs can seat up to 12 comfortably.

There is a further enormous room converted from the old barn (approx. 10 metres square).  This has a huge sitting area with a large television, separate dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.  It opens on to a north terrace and a vast west facing terrace with fabulous views of the Pyrénées and the large swimming pool, lending itself brilliantly to entertaining around the pool. In addition, there is a bathroom, consisting of shower, WC and basin to service the pool area.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are prettily decorated, and work brilliantly as master and guest suites.  The top floor sleeping area has been decorated in cane and runs almost the entire length of the house (over 30 metres).  With its many futon beds, this is perfect for teenagers and has its own large TV and video.

There is a caretaker who comes each day except weekends and does the pool, garden and maintains the house.  His wife comes twice a week and does the ironing of the linen and some cleaning.  They do not do any cooking but will be happy to help wherever they can by separate arrangement.

The house is just over an hour from Andorra so there is great skiing during the winter months.
