An 18th century mas hidden in the heart
of a medieval village of which the castle belonged to the Dukes
of Provence.
The house, although hidden away, is well
situated near to the shops. Previously featured in Italian Architectural
Digest, it is a very refined house belonging to a family who appreciates
art and culture. It has been beautifully and sensitively restored
by its interior designer owner to reflect the rich colours and textures
of the area. There is a superb outdoor pavilion with a piano where
you can organise magical dinners; and spacious interior rooms decorated
in a sophisticated Provençal style.
The garden is 700 sq.m with a large pool
and views to the castle. Olive and bay trees and a field of lavender
give a Mediterranean perfume.
The area of Provence with its numerous
cultural resources - Festival of Theatre in Avignon, Choreigies
of Orange, antiquities of the Isle sur Sorgues, and numerous local
markets - is a wonderful region in which to spend a holiday.
