The coast from Monaco is gorgeous and glamorous; Cap Ferrat remains one of the most expensive places to rent. Beaulieu a hidden jewel. Villefranche perfectly situated with fabulous views and easy access to Monaco and Nice. St Paul de Vence, a step away from the crowds but near enough to pop down to the coast for a dip. Nice, wonderful and Belle Époque. Cannes, glitzy and gorgeous.
Go west to the Languedoc for miles of shell-covered beaches and, for us foodies at SJV, oysters, fresh fish and delicious wines.
Despite everything you hear about traffic, expense and crowds, the South of France remains our most requested destination and for good reason - it's fabulous!
