Villa Bleu

This beautiful villa sits on the cliffs overlooking the entrance to Falmouth Bay. All the rooms, including the kitchen, have amazing views over the ocean on one side and across to Falmouth Harbour on the other.

The house runs the length of the cliff garden with a large master suite overlooking the infinity pool at one end, huge airy outdoor living areas and kitchen/dining towards the centre. The guest rooms are located in a series of connected ‘cottages’ at the other end. The ensemble is surrounded by a mass of bright pink and white bougainvillea. Two pretty pavilions can be reached at the end of steps halfway down the cliff; one houses a gym, the other a ‘gin and tonic’ pavilion for watching the sunset or enjoying the yacht racing during Antigua’s famous sailing weeks.

The house has several different spots for dining and masses of wonderful indoor/outdoor seating areas with deep sofas, loads of cushions, low tables and ceiling fans. One gets the impression of light and air with the constant sea breezes and the continuous vista of the ocean and bay from every aspect of the house.

The interior design has been done by a top interior decorator and is finished to the highest level with lovely linens, muted shades of blues and turquoise, white painted wood and huge decks. Picture perfect throughout!

The pretty guest cottages are built of wood, with windows on both sides, individual front doors, individual patios and elegant, en suite shower rooms.

The master suite has its own sitting room, double bedroom and fabulous bathroom with a shower and floor length windows overlooking the bay behind.

This is a wonderful house which would work well for a group of friends holidaying together or for a family.
