Villa Samadhana

A beautiful, contemporary house spread over 8 acres of lush landscaped Balinese gardens designed by the renowned Singaporean garden designer, Trevor Hillier. The house is perfect for two families being divided into several pavilions; the main pavilion houses very spacious and comfortable sofa areas, a TV room and a sheltered dining area.

The master bedroom is accessed via covered Balinese walkways edged with lily ponds and greenery and comprises a big sitting area, double bedroom, walk in dressing room and large indoor/outdoor bathroom. The suite looks onto a private lawn with sea views.

Two other bedrooms are set to the right of the Living Pavilion; these share an indoor/outdoor bathroom with lily pond and sunken bath. Both bedrooms have big French windows looking onto the lawn and gardens.

A guest annexe situated at the far end of the garden is very much self-contained with kitchenette and bar and two double bedrooms, both with en suite indoor/outdoor bathrooms.

The pool building is extraordinary; a large thatched roof, open on all sides and with bar, TV area with sofas, pool table and a powder room. All face a beautiful, long, jade green infinity pool and the sea in the distance.

This is a great house with loads of space for everyone to find a quiet corner for reading, chatting or entertaining and the whole property is extremely private.

The staff are excellent and the two cooks very proficient in both Asian and European cuisine.
